I read a review that said don’t read reviews and go to the theater as blind as possible, and that was great advice! It was a beautifully shot 35mm horror film, which is shown out of order for better shock and surprise, excellent lighting.
Action movie and bloody effects, wardrobe and choice of cars — everything is on top. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll keep this review vague. It is worth watching in the theater, and not waiting for the broadcast.
It was much better than other recent horror films, including the dreary «Long Legs» and the weird-ass «Cuckoo.» I highly recommend this movie 8/10. The final season of What Are We Doing in the Shadows is one of the biggest premieres on TV and streaming this month.
