The Superboys of Malegon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur film director from Malegon. City dwellers seek out Bollywood cinemas to escape the daily grind. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegon to make a film for the people of Malegon. He brings his group of mischievous friends together to realize his vision and breathe new life into the town. The film is a poignant yet uplifting look at filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
