I don’t understand all the negative reviews, yes, the pacing is not in Bourne territory, but it is suspenseful, fabulously acted and holds your attention.
I haven’t seen the French original before, so forgive me if I don’t make a comparison, but it would be a shame if any negative comparisons took away from any enjoyment of it. Perhaps the concerns about pacing come from binge-watching culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch multiple episodes at once, but I honestly can’t see any problem with that.
