Piglet and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope when it faces the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters and not by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be a streaming exclusive on the Max streaming service. After the company continued to release the film, it was sent to other distributors, and eventually GFM Animation acquired the worldwide distribution rights, and the film was released in theaters. Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his talent with arms, he pulls a lever to lower the machine and pushes it to get back up. Porky does the same later in the scene. But when Porky and Petunia are tied up, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine still lowers them… At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig utters his classic statement: “That’s it, people!” to Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the movie and that they need a sequel. He appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Characters: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022). Mr. Bass Man, a script by Johnny Cymbal Digitrax Entertainment, under an agreement with Covered Records, Inc. I really enjoyed the film. The story is a little, well, crazy, but what else would you expect from Looney Tunes, but it works as a Daffy Duck and Porky Pig movie. I have to say, though, that the promotion was heavily exaggerated. Of course, we’re talking about Looney Tunes here, specifically Daffy Duck, but still. Then the joke fell on me a little. There were undoubtedly funny moments, but the right spirit and humor that defines Looney Tunes was either missing or rare. But otherwise, I can recommend the film as a hand-drawn cartoon in modern times. This review is from Germany, where the film has already been shown.
